Alas, we have found ourselves at the beginning of another year and we are more than thrilled. Even though the Science/Psychology enthusiast in me is telling me that there really isn’t a big deal with a new year because of the illusion of time and what not, I still can’t help but express my profound gladness that we’re at the beginning of new times. The New Year is just another day, following the long series of days we have come from, but it comes with its own feel, making us reflect on the time spent and hoping for better days ahead. We look back at the strides we made, the books we read, and the content we churned out in pride, and we look unto a better time where we would beat our records in heartbeats.

For those of you who really believed the world was going to end in 2017, I’m more than glad you lacked the faith to make it actually happen. Some of us have dreams that need to be actualised for humanity’s sake. Inasmuch as we want to talk about the year already gone, I feel a better idea is to look onward at the coming days ahead – the blank canvas and empty hours we can fill to fulfil our desires. Rather than worry about our losses of 2017, we can plan ahead and live each day of 2018 as it comes. All while knowing that another year end would come where we would need to reflect on our successes. We need to make big moves, learn new things, free our minds and souls, believe in our godlike powers, and become truly invincible until we attain world domination.

As the curtains of 2017 close, we appreciate our friends and readers because without them there would be no us. We appreciate the doubters, because without them there’ll be no fuel to drive us ahead. We also appreciate the body of knowledge that is the world we live in – the pool of information that would never run dry. Our word for the year? Leave your past behind – good or bad – and focus on the days to come. Take each new day like a grandmaster and rule the minds of your world. You’re not ordinary so do not act like it. On this note, we say Adios 2017 and welcome 2018. It’s going to be a hell of a ride and we are about to turn the volume up a hundred.

Happy New Year Friends!!!
